This year’s theme is Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet – a perfect reminder of how we can all play a part in protecting nature. 🌱💚

Why not get involved after school or over the weekend with our Biodiversity Bingo challenge along the Lancaster Canal Towpath Trail?

Keep your eyes peeled for :
🌲 Lowland Mixed Woodland – Home to owls, woodpeckers & hidden wildlife.
🌿 Hedges & Scrub – Perfect shelter for birds, small mammals & insects.
🌾 Grassland – Look for butterflies, bees & wildflowers that add colour to the trail.

How to Play :
✅ Walk, cycle, or paddle along the towpath.
✅ Spot as many natural features & wildlife as you can and tick them off on our Biodiversity Bingo card.
✅ Snap a photo & share using #LancasterCanalTowpathTrail #WorldWildlifeDay and don’t forget to tag us too!
